Once a request is received, it is immediately logged into our system and the client receives a tracking number for reference. Service completion timeframes for non-standard service requests (hauler damage, waste diversion requests, new material solutions, etc.) are handled on a case-by-case basis.
All service requests routed through Waste Management's Care Center, with the exception of routine empty and returns, adhere to Waste Management's follow-up process to ensure that the service request was completed to your satisfaction.
Waste Management can usually obtain a pick-up for your location the next business day for any service request received before noon in that location's time zone. Requests made after the noon cutoff will usually receive service within 48 hours, with some constraints for weekends and holidays based on disposal facility availability. For service requests received after disposal facility operating hours, Waste Management's standard process is to transmit service requests to the haulers. These requests will be waiting on our service provider's faxes, desks, and email or dispatch systems when they begin their next day of operation and vendor confirmation will be achieved electronically or by Waste Management's Care Center Team.
